Tosti가 많은 가곡에서 즐겨 인용했던 영국인 저자이다.
크리스마스 시즌의 애창곡 Adams의 The Holy City,
어린나이에 요절한 아들을 생각하며 썼다는 Danny Boy,
블란서 처녀와 사랑에 빠진 영국 병사의 노래 Roses of Picardy,
등등에서 그의 이름을 찾을 수 있다.
2. To Miss Mary Davies.
악보에 적혀진 것처럼 Tosti가 Mary Davies에게 헌정한 노래인데
그녀는 당대 영국에서 활약하던 Welsh mezzo-soprano이다.
