모짜르트 (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart)
1756년 1월 오스트리아의 음악도시 잘츠부르크에서 태어났다. 네 살 때부터 연주를 시작하고 여섯 살에 첫 작품을 작곡한 '음악의 신동'. 궁핍한 생활에도 불구하고 창작의 열정을 불태워 오페라 <피가로의 결혼>, <돈 조반니>를 비롯해 600여 곡을 작곡한 그는, <레퀴엠>을 미완으로 남겨둔 채 1791년 12월 서른다섯의 나이로 빈에서 세상을 떠났다.
그가 묻힌 장소는 정확히 알 수 없지만, 후일 그의 무덤으로 추정되는 곳에 묘비가 세워졌다.
