Your hands lie open in the long fresh grass, The finger points look through like rosy blooms: Your eye smile peace. Clasp we to our hearts, for deathless dower, This close-companion’d inarticulate hour, When twofold silence was the song of love. 그대의 두 손은 파릇파릇한 긴 풀 속에 벌린 채 놓여있고, 손가락 끝들은 활짝 핀 장미꽃처럼 그 사이를 내다보고. 그대의 눈은 평화의 미소를 짓고 있네. 초원은 어슴프레 빛을 내다 어두워지네. 흩어졌다 모이는 넘실대는 하늘 아래에서, 우리의 보금자리 주위, 시선이 미치는 곳 까지 황금 미나리아재비 들판이네. 은빛 들가엔 어수리가 산사나무 울타리와 접경을 이루고 있네. 이건 눈에 보이는 정적, 모래시계처럼 고요한. 햇빛이 스며드는 깊은 수풀 속에 잠자리가 하늘에서 풀어놓은 파란 실처럼 매달려 있네. 그러니 이 날개달린 시간은 우리에게 하늘에서 떨어진 것. 오! 불멸의 재능을 위해 우리 가슴으로 포옹하자, 이 절친한 말없는 시간을, 이중의정적이 사랑의연가가되는 그시간을
