My Way / Hermann Prey (1929.7.11 - 1998.7.23) and now the end is near and so i face the final curtain my friend i'll say it clear i'll state my case of which i'm certain i've had lived a life that's full i traveled each and every highway and more, much more than i did it my way regret, i've had a few but then again too few to mention i did what i have to do and saw it through without exemption i planned each chartered course each carefull step along byway yes there were times i'm sure you knew when i bit off more than i could chew but through it all when there was doubt i ate it up and spit it out i faced it all and i stood tall and did it my way i've loved , i've laughed and cried i've had my fill my share of losing and now as tears subside i find it all so amusing to thing i did all that and may i say not in a say way for what is a man , what has he got of not himself then he has naught to say the things he truely feels and not the words of one who kneels the record show i took the blows Yesterday Yesterday, All my troubles seemed so far away Now it looks as though they're here to stay Oh, I believe in yesterday Suddenly, I'm not half the man I used to be There's a shadow hanging over me Oh, yesterday came suddenly Why she had to go, I don't know She wouldn't say I said something wrong Now I long for yesterday Yesterday, Love was such an easy game to play Now I need a place to hide away Oh, I believe in yesterday Why she had to go, I don't know She wouldn't say I said something wrong Now I long for yesterday Yesterday, Love was such an easy game to play Now I need a place to hide away Oh, I believe in yesterday
